OneSpirit releases statement regarding Coronavirus

Mar 16, 2020

The OneSpirit team released a statement on the 16th March 2020, regarding the recent suggestions from the Government regarding COVID-19. We shall be updating this statement page as the story evolves.

“We appreciate that you may be wondering how the spread of COVID-19 may impact on your OneSpirit journey this year – be it joining us on an intro day, queries about training when it begins in autumn, residentials and training weekends. We will continue to closely monitor the unfolding situation, official guidance and information from our training venues from day to day and will be updating this website accordingly.

The situation we are faced with is unprecedented and so we are dependent on following official guidance where possible, while also trying to remain as responsive and responsible as we can. Currently the advice is for most people to continue to go to work, school and other public places. However, this is a fast moving situation and things may change at short notice.

In addition to the possibility of the guidance around gatherings changing, we are also having to consider the possibility that venues may decide to close their doors, or other factors such as travel restrictions might also mean that it is unpractical for the training to continue as planned.

Ensuring the wellbeing of our staff team, faculty and students – and their families and loved ones – is our priority at this time. We want to ensure we minimise any risk of our behaviours contributing to the further spread of COVID-19.”

As always, please follow the guidance from the NHS website and stay safe:

For information regarding intro days, training starting in autumn 2020 and other events, please see this statement page, which will be updated as we go forward.
